MAESTRO COACH TRAINING
For the player who wants something deeper.
FXI’s highest coaching designation combines advanced qualifications, extensive experience and specialist expertise with something even more important: a meaningful coaching relationship built around the individual player.
Maestro training gives a player 60 minutes of uninterrupted individual coaching and mentorship with Coach Ross McMonies. That one-to-one environment allows Ross to see the smallest details in a player’s game, provide highly specific technical guidance and develop a deeper understanding of how that individual learns, communicates and responds to challenges.
But the real value of Maestro extends far beyond technical development. Through consistent time together, trust is built, confidence grows and a genuine emotional connection develops. The player has a coach who knows their game, recognizes their strengths, understands their challenges and believes in who they are becoming.
The player isn’t simply coming for another training session. They have someone invested in themsomeone who listens, encourages, challenges, celebrates their progress and helps them see more in themselves.
Better soccer is part of the goal. Helping the player feel seen, valued, capable and confident is something much bigger.

SPECIALA COACH TRAINING
For the player serious about getting better.
FXI Speciala coaches are experienced, qualified coaches with a proven ability to develop players. They combine strong technical knowledge with purposeful, detail-oriented coaching and an understanding of how to challenge players at the right level.
Speciala is at the heart of the FXI training experience. Sessions follow FXI’s unique player-development curriculum, designed to develop intelligent, technically capable and confident players. Training combines deliberate technical repetition with a cognitive layer that challenges players to scan, think, make decisions and understand when, where and why to apply their skills in the game.
Speciala coaches bring that curriculum to life in the positive, emotionally safe and player-first environment that defines FXI. Players are encouraged to think, experiment, make mistakes and grow - supported by a coach who values the person as much as the player.

SMALL GROUP DEVELOPMENT
From individual skill to collective understanding.
FXI Small Group Development is designed for 4–12 players who want to develop their individual game while learning how to connect and play with others. The larger training environment allows us to take the technical detail and purposeful repetition of FXI individual training and place it into increasingly realistic soccer situations.
Each session provides 90 minutes of purposeful development using FXI’s unique player-development curriculum. Players continue to work on receiving, passing, dribbling, movement and ball mastery, but now those skills have to function around teammates, opponents, space and pressure. Players are challenged not simply to execute a technique, but to scan, recognize the situation, make a decision and apply the right action at the right moment.
The real value of the small-group environment is the connection between players. With more players involved, we can introduce combination play, supporting angles, movement away from the ball, overloads, rotations and the rhythms and relationships that begin to make soccer feel like the game itself. Players start to understand not only what they should do, but how their movement and decisions influence everyone around them.
At the same time, the groups remain intentionally small enough for our coaches to see the individual within the activity. Players still receive technical detail, feedback, encouragement and appropriate challenge rather than disappearing into a large team-training environment. Mistakes are treated as opportunities to learn, players are encouraged to experiment and solve problems, and the emotionally safe, player-first environment that defines FXI remains central to every session.
Small Group Development is particularly powerful for groups of teammates who want to train together, players looking for more game-realistic supplemental training, or coaches and parents who want to create a consistent developmental environment for a group of players.
The objective isn't simply to create players who can perform skills. We want players who can see the game, understand the game, connect with others and confidently apply their ability when the game becomes unpredictable.
Develop the player. Connect the players. Bring the game to life.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
FXI Team Development is designed for coaches and teams who want to bring a purposeful, player-centered development environment directly into their team setting. These 90-minute sessions for 12–24 players is led by Coach Ross McMonies and combines FXI’s unique player-development curriculum with the specific needs of your team.
A session can focus on a particular area identified by the team coach - such as building possession, creating chances, pressing, defending collectively or improving combination play - or Ross can help identify an area of development and design the session accordingly. The objective is not simply to run the team through a collection of activities. Every session has a clear purpose and progression, helping players understand what they are doing, why they are doing it and how it connects to the game.
Team Development allows FXI to take the individual technical qualities we value and place them within the relationships and decisions of the full game. Players are challenged to scan, communicate, recognize space, solve problems and connect their individual actions with teammates. As the session progresses, individual decisions become small-group relationships, small groups become units, and units begin to function collectively as a team.
But Team Development isn't only about the players. It is also designed to support the team's coach. The session plan is shared with the coach, along with observations and developmental feedback that can help guide future training. Coaches can see the methodology in action, discuss the reasoning behind activities and interventions, and take ideas back into their own environment.
Most importantly, FXI brings the same emotionally safe, player-first approach into the team setting. Players should be challenged without being afraid to make mistakes, encouraged to think rather than simply follow instructions, and given the confidence to take greater ownership of the game.
The goal isn't for FXI to simply deliver a great 90-minute session. It's to leave the team - and its coach - with greater understanding, stronger connections and ideas that continue influencing development long after the session has finished.
Develop the player. Connect the players. Develop the team.

SUMMER CAMPS
Four days inside the FXI environment.
FXI Summer Camps give players the opportunity to immerse themselves in our unique player-development curriculum across four consecutive days of purposeful, engaging training. With two hours of training each day, players have the time and repetition needed to explore new ideas, develop technical ability and then begin applying what they learn within increasingly realistic game situations.
Each camp is built around the same principles that define FXI training. Players are challenged to become technically capable, intelligent and confident with the ball. Activities combine purposeful repetition with scanning, awareness, decision-making and problem-solving, helping players understand not only how to perform a skill, but when, where and why to use it in the game.
The extended camp environment also gives us something different from individual and small-group training: more players, more interactions and more possibilities. We can create competitive games, combination play, overloads, transitions and realistic soccer problems that encourage players to communicate, collaborate and find solutions together.
But an FXI camp is about more than soccer. We want players to spend four days in an environment where they feel welcomed, supported and excited to come back the following day. Coaches build relationships with players, encourage personality and creativity, and create an emotionally safe environment where mistakes are part of learning and every player has permission to experiment, compete and express themselves.
Our camps are designed for players who love the game and want to get better, whether they already train with FXI or are experiencing our approach for the first time. Players should leave camp with new skills and a greater understanding of the game - but also with more confidence, new friendships, positive memories and an even deeper connection to soccer.
FXI Summer Camps will be offered locally in Missoula and at selected locations throughout Montana and the Northwest, bringing the FXI curriculum and coaching environment directly to different soccer communities.
